Heinrichs Meets the Crucible by: Tyler Vitelli Abigail and John Proctor have private conversation.
Abigail tries to convince John Proctor she is not a witch John Proctor- Hey Abigail. Nice to see you again. Abigail- You too John. How have you been. John Proctor- Good and you my love? (Express Love) Abigail- Great, now that you are here. I have been looking for you all day. John Proctor- Ah, that is because I have been at work for most of the day, studying all of the information about witches and witchcraft that I have received and heard from people recently. Abigail-Oh, is that so? Well did you find any important information to help out on the case? John Proctor- Unfortunately not, Abigail, but I can just feel that we are getting closer to a new lead. Abigail- Well, in that case John, I hope you can find something new on the witchcraft case. John Proctor- Thank you very much. That means a lot, we have all been working non-stop for days now. Abigail- Anything for you, John. (Next Day) Abigail- (I wonder where John is. He is very late home today and supper has already gone cold.) John Proctor- (Busts open the door), Abigail, my one and only, how could you do this to me? Abigail- My love, what are you talking about? John Proctor- I think you are completely aware of what I am talking about Abigail. Abigail- No John, I seriously do not know what you are talking about. John Proctor- Well Abigail, we found some evidence today at work and have identified you as one of our suspects for witchcraft. (Accusation of a Subject) Abigail- What?!?! I have not done any of such sort John. You should know me better than an accused witch. John Proctor- I know love, but I just do not know what to believe right now and who to trust. I am in need of more help than I could have ever imagined. Abigail- My love, you have to trust me. I love you and I would never want to harm you this way. Please, John. John Proctor- I suppose. I will speak upon it tomorrow and say you are not guilty. (Sympathy Towards Others) Abigail- Thank you so much John, I love you. John Proctor- I love you too, Abigail (Scene Ends) |
